At an MPC Roundtable, a panel featuring Randy Blankenhorn from the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning (CMAP), Leanne Redden from the Regional Transportation Authority, Mayor Thomas Weisner from the City of Aurora and Herman Brewer from the Cook County Bureau of Economic Development discuss the region's progress on implementing the goals of CMAP's GO TO 2040 plan.

Why support MPC?

Businesses rely on factors like access (public transportation), zoning, and quality of life factors such as housing, education, recreation, etc. for productivity and to lure a dynamic workforce. Delivering these benefits in today’s economy demands a new strategy—one that prioritizes targeted investments, reduces demand for costly infrastructure and services, and maximizes existing assets through technology. MPC focuses on these and other issues that are vital not only to the sustainability, competiveness and livability of the region but also to the businesses located in Chicagoland.

How to support MPC

Events are effective vehicles for MPC to directly engage a wide range of key audiences in our work, including business leaders, stakeholders, partner organizations, elected officials, community leaders and residents. With support from corporate partners, MPC events are unique, valuable forums, where critical issues are discussed, best practices shared, and ideas generated that lead to improvements that benefit the Chicago region. Sponsorship opportunities include:

  • MPC’s 90th Anniversary Events
  • MPC’s Annual Event brings together leaders from communities, nonprofits, businesses, and government to consider developing, promoting, and implementing solutions for sound and equitable regional growth. We will be celebrating the accomplishments of MPC and our partners, while also looking forward to the future and the work that needs to be done. We will feature our Champions of Change award honoring extraordinary individuals who are making significant contributions to advancing racial equity and economic justice throughout the region. There are sponsorship opportunities that include many benefits, including recognition, visibility, possible VIP tickets, and table seating for guests.
