With extensive tax and real estate knowledge, Sameer Patel advises clients ranging from institutional and corporate investors to community development entities and real estate developers on the use of tax incentive financing that is driving much of today’s social impact investment opportunities and economic development.

Sameer’s practice is focused on the syndication of federal and state New Markets Tax Credits. His work also includes guiding clients through Opportunity Zone investments, low-income housing tax credit matters and historic rehabilitation tax credits.

Prior to joining Manatt, Sameer was a partner at an international law firm, where he concentrated his practice in tax incentive financing.
