Paul C. Carlisle

Paul Carlisle is Chief Operating Officer of Wintrust Commercial Banking, where he is responsible for leading and coordinating middle market banking across all the Wintrust Banks. Paul has spent his entire career serving middle market organizations in the greater Chicago area. He joined Wintrust in 2010 and prior to that spent over 25 years with JPMorgan Chase and its predecessor banks, American National and Bank One.

Paul graduated from Hammond (IN) High School and obtained both his BA (Business) and his MBA (Finance) from the University of Chicago. He serves as a member and former Chair of the Board of Governors of the Metropolitan Planning Council and Chair of the Avenues to Independence Foundation. He also serves as a board member of the Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois, the Chicago History Museum, Wintrust Investments, Wintrust Private Trust Company and Great Lakes Advisors LLC.
