Mara Tudor

Mara Tudor (she/her/hers) is a public policy researcher with a background spanning government, academia, and international policy. Mara earned her master’s degree in environmental and energy Policy from the University of Chicago, where she developed expertise in evidence-based policymaking, sustainability, and economic analysis. Prior to graduate school, she worked in both the Romanian and European governments, contributing to public policy initiatives and gaining firsthand experience with the intersection of governance and policy implementation.

Currently a Research Assistant at Metropolitan Planning Council, Mara supports research focused on creating more resilient, equitable, and sustainable communities. She is a published author with work in environmental policy, urban systems, and international development. She enjoys translating complex data into practical insights and is passionate about using rigorous research to inform better public policy.
