Adam Slade

Adam joined MPC in August 2018 as an Associate, supporting the organization’s effective government and water initiatives with his government management background and consulting experience. He is particularly focused on issues of equity in public policy, government process improvement, financial policy formulation, and performance measurement.

Prior to joining MPC, Adam worked as a senior consultant for the Government Finance Officers Association, where he worked with a variety of governments, including city, county, and state government organizations during their business process analysis and transformation activities. He has also worked in various roles on the technology side of financial software implementations.

Born and raised in Chicago, he earned a bachelor’s degree in public policy studies from DePaul University. Adam received a master’s degree in public policy and administration from Northwestern University, where he concentrated on organizational effectiveness in government. After a brief stint teaching elementary school in Washington, D.C., he earned a master’s degree in education from Lesley University. Adam lives in West Rogers Park and enjoys traveling, biking, and trying new restaurants.
