Zoning & Land Use Assessment Research Findings:
Limited Pollution Exposure

Limited pollution exposure is one of seven outcomes prioritized for Metropolitan Planning Council (MPC’s) Zoning and Land Use Assessment initiative, a collaborative project with Urban Institute and other stakeholders.

All neighborhoods feature low levels of pollution, taking into account cumulative impacts on overburdened communities. Key preliminary findings on the relationship between pollution exposure and zoning are presented below:
