Justice Involved Housing During the Time of COVID-19
Cook County Jail was an early U.S. hotspot for COVID-19. Since then, there have been efforts to control the spread among incarcerated and returning citizens. As other counties are exploring creative housing solutions during this time, Cook County and Chicago have the opportunity to improve the health and safety and to keep this vulnerable population adequately housed.
This event was co-hosted by Metropolitan Planning Council and Enterprise Community Partners.
