Paul Carlisle Announced as MPC Board Chair
Paul Carlisle is Chief Operating Officer and Market Head of Wintrust Commercial Banking, where he is responsible for leading and coordinating middle market banking across all Wintrust Banks. Paul has spent his entire career serving middle market organizations in the greater Chicago area. He joined Wintrust in 2010 and prior to that spent over 25 years with JPMorgan Chase and its predecessor banks, American National and Bank One. Paul joined MPC’s Board in 2006 and has served on the Executive Committee since 2009. Paul has also served as co-chair for several MPC committees, including Land Use & Planning, Housing & Community Development, and Development.
Paul graduated from Hammond (Ind.) High School and obtained both his BA in Business and his MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago. In addition to his commitment to MPC, Paul serves as Chair of the Board of Governors of the Metropolitan Planning Council, Chair of the Avenues to Independence Foundation, and as a board member of the Better Business Bureau of Chicago and Northern Illinois, the Chicago History Museum, the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation Advisory Board, Universal Chemicals & Coatings, Inc., Wintrust Investments, The Chicago Trust Company and Great Lakes Advisors LLC. Paul is highly regarded as a trusted and influential leader.
