Metropolitan Planning Council (MPC) Senior Director Audrey Wennink commented on Chicago’s transit agency governance in this Daily Herald article which reported on two rival reform proposals for public transit that were aired during a recent Senate Transportation Committee hearing.
Wennink noted in part, “With 47 appointees to four separate transit agencies, riders often don’t know who’s in charge.”
