Our keynote speaker, Lonnie G. Bunch III, founding director of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture and former president and director of the Chicago History Museum, will discuss how history and culture are essential to a vibrant community and healthy economy.
Lonnie will be joined in conversation with Joy Bivins, chief curator of the International African American Museum, which opens in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2020.
