Chicago Community Trust Opens 2020 Our Great Rivers RFP

The Chicago Community Trust has opened its third Our Great Rivers grant to support community-led riverfront improvement projects along Chicago’s rivers!

This request for proposals builds upon the Our Great Rivers vision and the first two Our Great Rivers grants, awarded in 2017 and 2019, which have funded a total of 15 riverfront projects.

This year, the Trust is looking for projects that align more strongly with the “Productive” theme from Our Great Rivers, and use the rivers as a way to promote local wealth, equitable development, and move toward the Trust’s new strategy of catalyzing community-driven investment.

Projects aligned with the Inviting and Living themes from Our Great Rivers will still be considered.

Letter of Interest submissions for the Our Great Rivers RFP is due on January 6, 2020. Visit the Chicago Community Trust’s page to learn more and to apply.

Leading up to the submission date, there will be two information sessions about the grant. Please RSVP to receive the address, as both buildings require names for access.
