Erica Marquez Avitia

Erica Marquez Avitia has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Erica began their career as an intern at Bank of America in 2001, where they worked on the Interest Rate Swap Desk. In 2003, they interned at Toyota Motor Sales in the Marketing department and then moved on to the US Department of Homeland Security as an intern in Human Resources.

In 2004, Erica joined Goldman Sachs Execution & Clearing LP, starting as an Associate and later becoming a Vice President until 2013. Erica then took on the role of Chief Operating Officer at Old Mission in 2013.

In 2019, Erica joined Innovative AV Systems as a Partner. This company specializes in audiovisual integration and provides commercial AV solutions.

In 2020, Erica became a Founding Member of Angeles Investors and also joined Chief as a Founding Chicago Chapter Member. Both these roles are ongoing.

Erica Marquez Avitia attended DePaul University from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. In addition to their degree, Erica also holds certifications, including the Series 27 and Series 7, from FINRA.
