Scott Farley
Scott joined MPC in June 2013 to direct the organization’s fundraising efforts.
Scott has spent the majority of his career in fundraising and development, most recently at the University of Chicago managing the college reunion program. Prior to his time there, Scott served as director of development for Junior Achievement (JA) of Chicago. At JA he was responsible for supporting a budget of over $6 million as well as overseeing all major fundraising campaigns and grant writing, program support and donor stewardship. As staff liaison to both the Board of Directors’ Development and Branding committees, he crafted strategies alongside some of Chicago’s most respected business and civic leaders to grow resources and raise awareness of JA’s mission.
A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Scott became passionate about planning issues while observing the redevelopment of the city’s downtown business district and riverfront. His experiences since moving to Chicago more than 10 years ago have only solidified his enthusiasm for supporting Chicagoland’s vibrant communities and the people who call them home.
Currently a resident of Ravenswood Manor, Scott often can be found exploring North Side neighborhoods and parks with his wife and dog.
