Yonina Gray
Yonina joined MPC in 2013 as an associate, and her work includes strategic planning and investments for housing and community development throughout the region. Yonina leads MPC’s Employer-Assisted Housing work.
A native Chicagoan, Yonina grew up in Uptown and moved to Pilsen while she completed her master’s degree in urban planning and policy at the University of Illinois-Chicago. Prior to MPC, Yonina worked for years in marketing and business development roles. Her most recent work in planning, at the Center for Neighborhood Technology, included research and publication of economic development and transportation policy recommendations for the Chicago region.
Currently living in Jefferson Park, Yonina likes to make time for entertaining, west African dance classes and traveling.
