Blessing Oged is a Research Assistant at the Metropolitan Planning Council (MPC), where she supports the Right Infrastructure, Right Place project, focusing on green stormwater infrastructure. Her work involves collaborative research, planning, and spatial analysis to identify equitable and effective infrastructure solutions for stormwater management. With experience in GIS, environmental analysis, and sustainability, she contributes to data-driven strategies that promote climate resilience and urban sustainability.

Blessing is set to graduate in Spring 2024 with a master’s in environmental science and sustainability from Loyola University Chicago. Her academic and professional journey is driven by a commitment to environmental restoration and sustainability. With expertise in GIS applications, data visualization, and stakeholder engagement, she bridges the gap between scientific research and practical implementation to address environmental challenges. Through her research and applied work, she strives to develop innovative strategies for improving water quality, enhancing ecosystem resilience, and advancing equitable environmental management.
