Congestion Pricing Program for the Chicago Region

This publication discusses how using the Illinois Tollway’s I-294/Tri-State Tollway as the cordon around the Chicago urban core and charging vehicles that cross the Tri-State and enter the urban core, fit both the demographics and needs of the Chicago region.
